Individual therapy, built around you

One-to-one sessions where you can speak freely, understand your patterns, and build practical tools for anxiety, mood, trauma, and everything in between.

A space that is entirely yours

Individual therapy is a weekly 45-minute conversation focused on one person: you. We start by mapping what's happening now — symptoms, stressors, history — then agree on clear goals and the approach most likely to help, from CBT and EMDR to mindfulness-based and psychodynamic work.

Progress is reviewed openly, in plain language. You'll always know what we're working on, why, and how we'll tell it's helping.

  • Anxiety, panic, OCD, and phobias
  • Depression, low motivation, and emptiness
  • Trauma, grief, and complicated loss
  • Burnout, perfectionism, and life transitions

How individual work unfolds

A clear process, no mystery

1. Understand

Two unhurried first sessions to map your history, symptoms, and strengths — plus screening measures where useful.

2. Practice

Weekly sessions blending insight with skills: thought work, exposure, EMDR processing, or emotion-focused exercises.

3. Sustain

We taper as gains hold — monthly check-ins, a relapse-prevention plan, and tools you keep for life.

Who individual therapy helps most

Adults and older teens who feel stuck in loops they can see but can't break — the worry that won't switch off, the mood that won't lift, the reaction that feels bigger than the moment. If you're functioning but exhausted by the effort, this work is for you.

Individual therapy, answered

Focused concerns often shift meaningfully in 8–12 sessions. Longer-standing patterns usually take several months. We set a review point at session six and decide together.

Yes, with the standard legal exceptions around imminent safety and abuse of vulnerable persons. I'll explain exactly how confidentiality works before we begin.

Absolutely. Many clients mix both — office sessions most weeks, video when traveling or unwell. The treatment plan stays exactly the same.
